First's thing's first. I'm SSOOOO sorry for not posting anything in a while! School just started like three weeks ago and I'm all over the place. I really want to do good this year but all the free time I have goes to watching Veronica Mars and New Girl Season 2 and plain simply because I had nothing to blog about. I'm going to write about The Fall of Five from the Lorien Legacies by Pittacus Lore, which recently came out a few weeks ago. I wanted to get it but unfortunately, I still have so many unread books and I just want to finish them first!
Anyway, on to the good stuff. The One from the Selection Series came out like literally 20 hours ago. I've just seen and my heart almost stopped.
If you've seen one of my previous posts, I actually met Kiera Cass at a book signing! Now don't worry, that tiny picture up there is only a preview of the front cover (obviously). Just go check out the link to see the full cover (someone's wearing white ;) ) and The Selection Stories: The Prince and The Guard, two of the series' novellas. Which I have not read either but uggghhhhh, so can we just please talk about this perfect cover?
Like the two previous covers, America is represented in the middle wearing a beautiful gown in a mirrored room. This time though, I believe they changed the model who 'played' America from the two first novels. Don't be disappointed though because she's just as beautiful as the first America.
America wears her red hair up in a weird but elegant bun and wearing (what I believe is) a white wedding gown. Now let me just say this, when I get married, I want this to be my wedding dress. I usually don't like over the top wedding dresses, I like sleek and elegant but I think this gown is just a mix of both. The corset is nice and fitted around America's body with a huge, ruffled, puffy skirt. And I can't even begin to describe how much I love the detail on this skirt. It is incredible. I don't know about you guys but to me, it almost looks like a white rose which doesn't make her skin quite so pale but with a pinkish glow. The makeup is very natural and also like in the previous covers, America covers part of her face, which I like because it gives a sort of mystery to her. Like she isn't just this pretty girl in an expensive gown.
Anyway, I just can't wait to read the conclusion to this amazing series! What do you guys think of the cover? Love it? Hate it? Comment down bellow!
