"Nora should know better than to think her life can return to normal after falling in love with a fallen angel. And Nora's life isn't normal - her dad was murdered, and the fact about his death just don't add up. Now Nora's own life is in imminent danger. Are she and Patch strong enough for the battle ahead?"
New characters to look out for:
- Scott Parnell, Nora's childhood friend, who is not who he seems to be.
- Lynn Parnell, Scott's mom.
- Barnabas Underwood/Hank Millar, Marcie's father.
- Harrison Grey, Nora's dad (only mentioned in the first book).
I'm around halfway through the book and so far, so good. Nothing special actually happens but Fitzpatrick just keeps me hooked. Although I do admit, she could cut back on Nora needing Patch. I get that Nora loves him and all but now it kind of makes her look a bit weak.
But other than that, I love it! I've totally fallen for Scott, who like Patch, is a bad boy. I usually hate them but Fitzpatrick has made him seem mysterious without being too frightful. I'm intruiged with Scott. Now I'm just hoping he's not the bad guy!
I'll write a review as soon as I finish reading the novel! Right now, I am staying at my grandma's house (with the slowest possible internet connection) and with nothing much to do, I'm going to be reading, writing and catching up on some of my fave TV series this week!
After Crescendo, I think I'm either going to start to read Ashes by Ilsa J. Bick or The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima.
